What this site collects
This website has two forms. The contact form asks for your name, your email address and your message. The membership application asks for the details the committee needs to consider an application, which are the fields shown on that form and nothing else.
Nothing else on this site collects anything about you. Reading a page, looking at the gallery or downloading a document does not ask you for information and does not require an account.
Why, and who sees it
What you send through a form is used to answer you, and in the case of an application, to consider it. It is filed in the association’s own database on the server that runs this site, and it is read by the officers and administrators who hold an account in the site’s admin.
Where the association has configured a mail server, a copy is emailed to the office and a confirmation is emailed to you. Nothing you send is sold, rented or passed to anyone for marketing.
How long it is kept
Enquiries and applications stay in the association’s inbox until they are deleted from it. You can ask for yours to be removed at any time, using the address at the top of this page, and it will be.
Other people’s services
The contact page embeds a map from OpenStreetMap. That frame is loaded by your browser from openstreetmap.org, which will see your IP address when it does. OpenStreetMap is a non-profit mapping project and sets no advertising or tracking cookie. The association has no access to and no control over what it records.
Where the association has configured a mail server, the mail carrying your enquiry passes through that provider on its way to the office.
If the association enables a tag container for website measurement, this page will name it and say what it records. Until then, none is loaded.
Your rights
You can ask what the association holds about you, ask for it to be corrected if it is wrong, and ask for it to be deleted. Write to the address at the top of this page and the office will deal with it.
If you would rather not use a form at all, the association’s telephone number and postal address are on the contact page, and either works just as well.
Changes to this notice
If what this site collects changes, this page changes with it, and the change is posted here rather than announced anywhere else.
