Want to join the club?

Thanks to its supporters, the Jamaica Rifle Association can keep the range open, the cadets shooting and the national teams travelling. In return we are glad to offer standing recognition and a real part in the association’s year. Get in touch for what that looks like.

Who you reach

A partnership reaches an audience that turns up in person, week after week, and travels with the association’s name on it.

  • A membership that shoots every week

Saturday Rumbles and monthly Mega Rumbles at Mountain View, alongside smallbore, full bore, archery and the cadet programme.

  • Four international events a year

The association hosts four major international practical shooting events annually as IPSC’s regional headquarters.

  • Teams that travel

Jamaica has sent full bore teams to Bisley, Connaught and the Commonwealth Games, and competes across the Caribbean regional tournaments.

  • Athletes coming through

The cadet programme with the Jamaica Combined Cadet Force, and coaching that takes beginners in every discipline.

What a partnership supports

Sponsorship at the JRA is not advertising space. It pays for specific things, and the association will tell you which.

  • Youth and cadet development, including the JCCF programme
  • Range facilities and equipment at 148 Mountain View Avenue
  • National team selection, travel and entry to overseas tournaments
  • Officials’ training — the Certified Range Officer Program and NROI Jamaica
  • Prize tables and running costs for the association’s own fixtures

Partnership tiers

Rates are set by the association against what a partnership supports, so every tier below reads “on application”. Tell us what you have in mind and the office will come back with a written proposal.

  • Event partner

    On application

One fixture, carried end to end — a Mega Rumble, a regional match or the President’s Cup.

    • Naming on the fixture and its entry material
    • Branding on the range for the duration of the match
    • Presence on the prize table and in the results release
    • Credit on the fixture’s page on this site
  • Discipline partner

    On application

One sporting area for a season — practical pistol, full bore, ISSF, archery or the cadet programme.

    • Credit on the discipline’s page and its fixtures for the season
    • Branding at that discipline’s club matches
    • Association support for a squad or a training block
    • Named in the association’s announcements for that discipline
  • Association partner

    On application

A standing partnership across the association’s year, at every discipline it runs.

    • Credit across the site and the association’s fixtures
    • Presence at the four international events
    • Involvement in the cadet and development programmes
    • A named contact on the managing committee

What that looks like in practice

The association runs live sport on its own range, which is where most of the value sits.

  • On the range

Stage and bay branding through a match, and signage at the firing points and the clubhouse.

  • On the match

Naming rights on a fixture, on its entry material and on the results the association publishes.

  • On the team

Squad kit and travel support for the teams the association sends to regional and international meets.

  • On this site

Credit on the discipline and fixture pages your partnership supports, and in the news announcements against them.
